Taupō Stay

Liked: Comfortable bed. Easy and quick checkin. Facilities clean. Easy parking. Room warm with adequate heating.
Disliked: Water pressure not great along with water temperature. Made getting a room with spa bath pointless. Could hear people moving around in rooms next door.

Value for money but needs...

Liked: Location is good, rooms are clean and have what you need for a short stay. Reception helpful.
Disliked: We kept getting too few towels per people booked in the room but the receptionist gave more when requested. The electric blanket didn’t work in the main bedroom. The biggest disappointment though was the lack of hot water. There is a beautiful spa bath in the room but the hot water was not hot enough to run a bath and after two people had a shower no more than a few minutes each, the water was not warm enough for a shower either. For a motel I’d have thought it might be on gas if it cannot cope with the full capacity of the motel for the night?
