Really not worth the cheap...

Liked: The room was clean and the bed comfortable.
Disliked: We live in a neighbouring town but stay in Port when going to a show. I booked a room and, that evening, received a phone call from a woman from the hotel giving 20 questions about why we were booking there when we were ‘locals’ and telling me that we couldn’t have parties or anything there and that everything had to be quiet after 9.30pm. We decided to stay anyway. There were extra charges for everything… even for using the room’s bin and not emptying it for it. We were given a room on the first floor so we had to go up some stairs. When we got back around 10.30pm, all the outside lights, including the stairwell, were turned off with no apparent way to turn on a light. As such, we had to climb the stairs in the dark which was really dangerous.

Meet my needs

Liked: 1. Just a short distance across the street from Garden Village where my friends live.2. Microwave n balcony3. Friendly proprietress4. Nice quiet neighbourhood5. Pleasant view down the little slope from balcony
Disliked: 1. A few more hooks in bathroom wld be handy.2. Bedside power charging wld be good3. Separate taps for hot n cold H2O in shower n shutting off need them to be turned back to start so adjustment required again each time when turning back on.
