We had a lovely time...

Liked: Loved the old world feeling of this place the staff were so lovely

Liked: Maureen was pleasant; husband was arrogant
Disliked: AshtreeNo soap for shower. No glass in bathroom or any amenities. Stains on rugNo help with luggage; no elevator and up a grand steep staircase I couldn’t make it so gave me noisiest room downstairs. Freezing. No heater or air control. Told “ You’re not used to Scotland summer.”No elect plug for roomHair dryer won’t work with my elect converter plugNo hairdryer in room. Can’t check mattress seams as non/removable cover onInconsistent internet Up quite a hill. Skip if you have any orthopedic issues. Needs updating. Poor bathroom with loose tiling. Drains clogged in shower and sink. Can’t brush teeth and lean over faucet as your face will be wet with the backed drain. My lovely voco Grand Central in Glasgow was the same price with all amenities Conclusion: Avoid and stay in Glasgow.

Fantastic value next to airport...

Liked: Super friendly owner, very close to airport I always stay at the holiday inn express at the airport but never again I will always stay here!!Lovely room, comfortable clean and just really nice. 7 minutes to the airport by taxi.

Disliked: decor quite tired looking & shower was hot but when tried to turn down went off.

Stylish hotel with very kind...

Liked: Ashtree House Hotel is situated in a very stylish building, like a mini castle in the centre of a lovely tiny park in Paisley, Glasgow.The owners and the staff we met were extremely kind. The room was big, well furnished and equipped as per the introduction on Booking. Having breakfast here was a great start of the day. You could make your choise out of a long list and food is delicious. At the bar you could taste whiskey from a wide variety of distilleries.I recommend it to all who would discover this part of Scotland and need a base. Also for those, who needs an airport hotel, but fed up with the standardized look hotels which are the same at the airports all over the world. Here, you can taste Scotland!
Disliked: The name Airport Hotel does not really covers the reality, as it is a 15 mins taxi ride from the GLA itself. But as it is visible in the map and we were aware about it, I cannot complain. Naming like this is rather a kind of a marketing.
