Stay spoilt by rubbish mattress!

Liked: Good facilities, parking and breakfast.
Disliked: Although our room was recently refurbished, the mattress was diabolical. We requested a replacement which turned out just as bad. Must have bought a job lot of cheap mattresses.Not a smart move as the room was nicely furnished. They also overbooked on the 2nd night and decided to cancel our sons room the day before he was due to join us.

Liked: Rang to ask if they were doing food . Was told bar meals only which was fine when we got there no food available at all
Disliked: No food, room set for one person

Liked: Stunning surroundings, peaceful location, clean rooms and friendly staff
Disliked: Was not aware it is a management training centre. There was a large corporate event on when we arrived that went on into the evening. Would have been great had we been able to sit outside and eat, however all the tables were cordened off for the event. We booked on the hoof and it was not clear that it was a management training centre on Booking.com. May not have booked if it was made clear.Also small double bed in a Deluxe King room :-(
