Liked: Venue is great - just really soulless in the evening. You could even put some music on in the bar - the atmosphere is really quiet and staff are disinterested/bored.

Liked: A beautiful olde worlde looking building, not as old as it looks. Modernised sympathetically. Lovely grounds. The restaurant was excellent & staff friendly & helpful.
Disliked: In the middle of a heatwave aircon would have been good. There was a fan, which we kept running all night in front of the open window. Possibly the new accommodation blocks would have had aircon but we were in a lovely room in the old part of the house.
