Liked: Perfect position for walking into the city centre, great breakfast and quite silent location
Disliked: not good to pay 18 Pounds extra for parking due to booking through booking.com

Not my best choice of...

Liked: The location was perfect. The bed was comfortable. The staff were nice.
Disliked: Dirty shower - pubic hair, mould and a filthy switch on my shower. I reported this to reception and it was slightly better when I returned to my room 206.My television didn't work the second night.The floor of the female public toilet by the bar was filthy. In fact I took a piece of damp toilet tissue and used my foot to wipe the floor. Yuck.The Happy Hour in the bar was only for certain items. No crisps or peanuts. The drinks were expensive considering the hotel is it's only 3 stars.The decor of the place is lost in the 1980s it has no atmosphere.It was weird having stairs in my room not exactly safe. I luckily only slipped up them once. Breakfast is buffet style but carrying full cups of hot beverage for the age group of the guests is not a great idea safety wise.It's a long time since I have seen sugar bowls containing loose sugar. Again, it's not very hygienic and single sugar servings would be better.

Liked: The location was ideal and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was fine.
Disliked: The property was not clean, especially in the old bathrooms.It's very old fashioned and needs modernised. Bar facilities hardly open due to a lack of staff at times, zero atmosphere!

Not satisfied

Liked: Nice location close to the river and the city center.
Disliked: No WiFi coverage in our room. The staff could not fix this problem or move us to another room even though there were rooms available. They said they had other things to solve and asked us to leave the front desk. Moreover they had a permanent shortage of staff and couldn’t make our room.
