A Lada experience at Rolls...

Liked: room was clean mattress and pillow was comfortable
Disliked: incredibly expensive for what it was, tired decor, some in our party had a fan, some didn't, one had no soap or means to wash with, and we got charged extra for parking and if we had wanted one a full english breakfast. service was surly at best, i'm sure there are far better places tia tay in Cambridge

Just about tolerable as a...

Liked: Location was well placed for easy access to the city centre.
Disliked: Upon arrival the reception was stuffy and smelled like dust. The building is entirely without AC - not too surprising given its age, but what was surprising was that there were no fans anywhere. Upon arrival to my room I discovered faeces in the toilet and dust on many surfaces. When I attempted to use the shower, I had no hot water.

The hotel is very dated...

Liked: Location was good and the public areas were comfortable.
Disliked: No air conditioning (and it was stifingly hot and humid). No room in bathroom to put toiletries etc. No water or fridge.

Good location, overpriced and dated.

Liked: Good location close to Jesus Green park and lido
Disliked: Very dated, rooms are small and stuffy and loud (you could head the main road and people next door as if they were in your room). Also incredibly hot and not even a fan was provided so it was impossible to sleep even with windows open (and due to noise). £120 per night for a single room is extortionate. The continental breakfast was a joke - only some boxed cereal and yoghurt on offer.

Good location. Clean and comfortable....

Liked: As soon as we arrived and noticed my husband had trouble walking they changed our room to ground floor Also next morning they offered us a table bestest the buffet breakfast do he didn’t have to walk far
Disliked: Nothing

Very good

Liked: It is a really beautiful hotel with nice ambiance. People working there are great, as wel as the location.
Disliked: As it was midsummer, the room was getting quite hot and it was hard to cool them down.

Convenient and friendly but getting...

Liked: Convenient for the centre of Cambridge. Parking available.
Disliked: Some furniture and fittings are in need of an update. Carpets torn, etc. No lifts.

Superb

Liked: Location was great, just a 5 minute walk to the punts & pubs, restaurants.
Disliked: Room could have done with a mini bar in it.
