We were we very happy...

Liked: Location suited us well. It was spacious and had everything we needed. Everything worked well too. Security was very good and worked seamlessly.
Disliked: The cleaning of the toilet.

Disappointing

Liked: parking, location, Netflix on the TV and the lady who greeted me at check in, room size
Disliked: Where do I start... The room looked nothing like the pictures. I regret not checking the most recent reviews before my free cancellation came around as the reviews had taken a nose dive since I booked about 9 months prior to my trip. I was hoping they weren't true but unfortunately they were.The bathroom was the biggest issue. Old is ok but this was old and poorly maintained. The toilet roll holder was half off the wall, there was rust/mould at the edge of the shower door, there was mould IN THE SHOWER (you guys should seriously get some glass guard it's so easy to remove mould), there was large chunks of ground missing, the vent was not an exhaust fan or at least not a working one and it was covered in a thick layer of dust. Oh and the shower went from scolding hot from freezing cold making showering and unwanted task after a long day of travelThey only provided two very old thin blankets that were at least ONE SIZE TOO SMALL for the bed. (I can see somebody else mentioned this and it has not been rectified).Like c'mon, seriously? You can get a warm dooner for a kings size bed for less than $50 from big W on sale! Kellie at reception did drop one in when I called and asked as the room was freezing as the aircon blew out barely warm air and when it did it made these God awful loud clicking noises.The mattress is so old the pillow top is squished to thinner than a sheet, it's like sleeping on a wooden plank. I woke up so sore and stiff. I really considered booking somewhere else after the first nightThe mirror with all the bulbs around it - I thought that would be great to do my make up in. Then I followed the cords into the wardrobe where they looked like somebody had electral taped them... No way was I testing that out.It was very easy to hear passing road noise and there was very loud trucks on Friday morning. Then loud party music from what I assume is a nearby venue on Friday night (could hear it over the TV).

Liked: I loved the outdated decor. The vibrant colour of the kitchen took me back 30 years.
Disliked: Sand everywhere. In the bed. On the floor. In the spare blanket in the cupboard. While the room wasn't bad, the unvacuumed state was annoying.

Liked: Location was great . The facilities were good .Loved the spa and pool were relaxing . Security great .
Disliked: Bed- doona perhaps instead of blankets that seemed old ! Perhaps provide a beach towel each for our stay . Kitchen and room as well as bathroom need a good upgrade - broken tiles on kitchen floor, mould in shower area & kitchen area around the sink toilet not working, dusty fan , old yellow curtains . We stayed in room 29.
