Disappointing

Liked: Potential to be outstanding
Disliked: Roof top closed on one of the hottest days of the year. Room service awful, food cold, badly laid tray, staff said they were over worked.

Liked: very good location and very clean.
Disliked: the lift stopped working while me and my partner were in it and on another occasion we waited in the lift for 15 minutes going up and down as it wouldn’t stop at our floor as other people were trying to use it. i booked the hotel well in advance as a present for my partner to use it as a spa/relaxing getaway but they had closed the rooftop completely for an event that we had no idea about. very disappointed as it was the main reason i booked this hotel.

Enjoy the rooftop, but only...

Liked: It’s a very beautiful hotel in a great location. The views were incredible. It smells lovely as you walk in and there is a really quirky and fun feel to the hotel. The staff were helpful and kindly upgraded our room.
Disliked: We booked specifically because of the rooftop terrace, however due to our plans we didn’t arrive until 7.45 on Sunday evening and were told that the rooftop bar and the cocktail bar on the 15th floor were closing. As leisure travellers, we wanted to have a couple of cocktails and unwind, enjoy the views - but apparently 8pm is late enough on a Sunday. The whole area closes down early on a Sunday and we ended up just in a local pub 10 minutes away. As a hotel guest, I’d really like to be able to use the selling points of the hotel. Likewise the next morning we went to the rooftop pool but there are only a few loungers which were already taken. The pool is beautiful but we didn’t stay long as there was no where to sit and enjoy the (rare) sunshine. This feels like a hotel that could’ve been amazing, but ended up being very disappointing for what I had hoped would be a lovely London getaway.

Liked: Excellent location, rooftop pool was a real plus and views were exceptional across London.
Disliked: Shame the rooftop bar wasn’t open and check in process needs to be quicker.

Liked: We have stayed at this hotel a few times now, and always have a great time. The staff are lovely, the numerous bars and restaurants are great, the gym and spa are such a bonus, the rooms are clean and lovely with a comfy bed, and in terms of location, it couldn't get any better. Highly recommend!
Disliked: Nothing.
