Arthotel Munich

Great option in central Munich

Liked: This hotel is perfectly located just steps from the train station, making it an excellent choice for a short stay in Munich. It’s also within walking distance of the city center, which is very convenient. The hotel itself is clean and well-maintained, and the room was comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
Disliked: My only complaint is that the air conditioning wasn’t very effective, which made for a rather uncomfortable night during the summer heat.

Comfortable hotel close to station

Liked: Room was a good size for 3 pax, clean with comfortable beds and close to the station. Very good breakfast, staff were friendly and helpful with info about munich and transport. Easy access to metro for a trip into old town else a flat and straightforward 15-20 min walk.
Disliked: Lots of construction going on in the area - so busy with trucks and road closures (not the hotel's fault of course). We stayed here due to access to the train station and where we were picking up our car, else probably would have stayed closer to Marienplatz and the shops, sites etc. Lots of kebabs and pool halls in the area if that is your thing (not really ours!)

Too expensive for their quite...

Liked: Very helpful staff, good breakfast
Disliked: it is a noisy place with a construction site opposite. The hotel’s parking was not available for my car, so I had to left it in a recommended parking three blocks from the hotel. The room is furnished with old furniture, lamps, AC, all very poor and old, nothing like the photos on Booking. Also weak WiFi and another 8 steps at the hotel entrance, which created additional inconvenience.

Superb

Liked: The room was lovely and a good size. The bathroom was also spacious and very modern. Loved the quirky artwork round the hotel. It added to the character. Breakfast was good although a little chaotic.
Disliked: The hotel had run out of English breakfast tea which is the only tea I drink and I can't drink coffee for medical reasons. There was a bar but it never seemed to be open. A couple of times we got in around 5pm and would have loved a drink to round the day but couldn't get one unless we went out.

Liked: very cooperative staff, all goo, nice stay, recommend to my friends, and other travellers.When ever I visit Munich Germany, my first choice is to stay again in this hotel
