Adequate motel

Liked: The location was very convenient for the Laguna art festivals. Breakfast was nice and the bed was very comfortable. Free parking is a great feature.
Disliked: The two sinks in our bathroom in room 110 had no hot and when I spoke with the woman at the front desk, she said she thought the maintenance person was coming that day and she would let him know. Completely not helpful for us as we were checking out that day. Also the floor wasn't as clean as I'd expect.

Liked: Such a cute hotel. The “ocean view” rooms are a peak of water, but large and very nicely updated. Fantastic bathrooms with new, large showers and comfy beds. Super clean with nice balconies and the pool area is beautiful. I had it to myself for a perfect reading spot on a Saturday morning. Would recommend! Free parking and breakfast icing on the cake! This is a great location IF you don’t mind driving downtown and finding/paying a lot for hourly parking. Too far to walk and my husband and I love long walks. It’s across from a really nice beach with bathrooms and walking distance to a few cute restaurants.

Disliked: Room 111 had a safety hazard on the platform of the first bed as you enter the room. There was a 1”x4” plank of wood under the boxspring that stuck out 4” from the bed that my son and I both hit repeatedly during our stay. It happened later the first night and early the morning we left so I didn’t ask for a room change because it appeared the hotel was full.

Great stay!

Liked: Everything was great. Gentleman at the desk was quite pleasant. Room and bathroom well appointed. Quiet inside with no street noise.
Disliked: Nothing

A shabby 2-star hotel with...

Liked: Staff was friendly.
Disliked: Barn door to bathroom wouldn’t close. Toilet seat would slide off when you sat on it and toilet was so low flow that it wouldn’t flush. The shower had two body washes and no shampoo. Air conditioning unit was constantly running (unless you unplugged it) and was incredibly loud. Both that and the fan in the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned in a long time and were full of dust. The hotel is on a very loud section of the PCH, so hanging out at the pool isn’t enjoyable. I really wish I would have picked a different place to stay.
