Liked: Beautiful, art deco hotel. Lots of character.
Disliked: The WiFi did not work. The hotel router was rebooted in an attempt to solve the issue. It seemed to resolve briefly before once again not connecting. It did not seem to affect all guests so might be a room-related issue. I found the exact same issue reported by another guest in January 2025.

Liked: A beautiful piece of history right in the heart of Napier. Location was fantastic with a lovely view out over the beach. Our room was clean & had a very comfy bed. The staff were vey friendly & helpful.
