Charming and quiet cottage stay

Liked: Comfy and clean stay in a charming little cottage, and a very peaceful place to rest just a short walk from the main strip in Arrowtown. One of the best beds I've slept in in a while. And nice views out to the hills to wake up to.Yes, a siren went off in the middle of the night at the fire station next door, which the host had warned about - I've read some complaints on here about this, but someone's life being saved is obviously more important than a minor sleep disturbance. If anything, added a bit more charm and intrigue to my stay here, and interesting to learn about these WWII air raid-style sirens being used in NZ!

Liked: It was a very short walk to the main street through the back gate. The room was private and cosy and had everything you would need. Nice big comfy bed and plenty of blankets for warmth. We really enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and the gardens.

Blissful, soul soothing and so...

Liked: I can only describe Arrowtown Lodge as sublime. We were entranced by the whole experience and would heartily recommend it to anyone wishing for comfort, privacy and beauty.
Disliked: Can’t think of anything.

Definitely come again.

Liked: Loved the proximity to the town of Arrowtown. The cottage was beautiful and cozy, with a spa and an outdoor terrace with fireplace.

Liked: Best sleep in years! The location was perfect minutes from town. Enjoyed a glass of wine sitting by the fire.
