ARRIVE Wilmington

Great place. A bit overpriced...

Liked: Beautiful courtyard. Excellent location and staff.
Disliked: I did not like that they didn't tell us upfront that we had to request housekeeping the day before and before 5 pm! What?!And I didn't like that our room did not have a desk, iron or ironing board.And we didn't like the Valet. Our car was closer than walking to the valet and there was a big open lot. Just provide free parking!

Nice pleasant hotel great location.

Liked: Location was great, room was good size and clean.
Disliked: Air Condition unit was on the roof and was very noisy.

Next time in Wilmington, we'll...

Liked: The best thing about Arrive is the location, really central. And the place was clean.
Disliked: The reception staff was friendly but kind of unhelpful. They didn't tell us that cleaning was every third day, and then the room wasn't even cleaned on the third day. They also didn't mention that the bottled water set out separately in the room was a purchased item, though there was no price attached and it appeared complimentary. The room (in the the three-floor building) was dark with little natural light, and only a blackout curtain was available, not a light-filtering liner.

Lovely place and I will...

Liked: Location and the impeccable grounds. The suite was small and dark but cozy.
Disliked: No one offered to assist me with my bags.

Relaxing stay in the heart...

Liked: Gorgeous property, amazing amenities and such a cute room!! Staff was so friendly and the grounds were the perfect Wilmington vibe

need sheer privacy curtains

Liked: great location. room was nice check in and out was easy. would recommend staying here.
Disliked: There are only black out curtains for windows and door but the rooms are along the outdoor porch hall similar to a motel. They definitely need to add sheer privacy curtains because currently the options are either dark blacked out privacy or totally exposed to everyone walking by.

Exceptional

Liked: It was just the cutest hotel I’ve ever seen! Also perfectly situated for my husband and I to explore downtown by foot.
Disliked: I think the only even minor complaint I could make is that there were no elevators. We were on the third floor and hauling the luggage up was not fun, but not the end of the world either.

Great spot, excellently cared-for historic...

Liked: Location. Quality of the building finishes. Well kept property. Friendly helpful desk staff. Gazebo bar is great. Free drink coupon upon checking in was excellent and unexpected. Loved the historic character of the buildings.
