Uneventful but uninspiring

Liked: Nice bar.
Disliked: Room basic. Kettle only in room with only 2 instant coffee, and 2 teas. No coffee machine Room was tired Shower over bath awkward Reception Staff could be more welcoming and at check out no one asked about my stay.

Liked: The staff were friendly and the lobby was nice. location was ideal.
Disliked: I expected a lot more from my room, it was very dated, plugs hanging off the walls, aircon didn't work, felt dusty and the TV didn't work. I asked reception 3 times for a new remote for the TV but nothing appeared. I also asked twice for slippers and a robe which was advertised as being available, but despite being told they would provide one, nothing appeared.

Exceptional

Liked: Has a unique theme feels high spec and very spacious while still feeling warm, welcoming and cosy. Bed was massive, the walk in shower was brilliant too.

Liked: the location was really good. the bed and pillows were comfy and the shower was powerful. the room had everything you needed, including an iron and a great bluetooth speaker also a full length mirror which was great
Disliked: the room looked very dated all the furniture looked very basic and i've never stayed in a room with as many scuffs on the walls, it definitely needs redecorating, also they was a random rug in a strange place so i presume there may have been a stain under there but i didn't look. the room was large but there was only 1 comfy chair that was also stained and no chair next to the dressing table.

Liked: We really liked the location it wasn’t far from food places and shopping which really suited us. The hotel staff were absolutely amazing with us very polite and professional. The rooms were very clean and really met out expectations
