Liked: It was very English, and has alot of history. Close to most to most things, Morrisons, the fish& chip shop.
Disliked: Nothing not to like.

Not a great stay -...

Liked: The park next door was really nice to walk around in. The room was clean and the bed was comfy.
Disliked: The photos on the room made it look a lot bigger. When I went down to complain they agreed that the room was smaller than the normal suites, but all the other suites were already booked. They offered me a free breakfast as compensation. Initially I thought this was a good thing, but after trying the breakfast, it felt more like a punishment. The staff said they couldn't do anything without a manager, and obviously the manager doesn't come in on weekends, so nothing could be done. The room was drab and hadn't been updated in decades. The windows wouldn't open more than an inch, and there was nothing to keep them open. No A/C either which was horrible in summer. Overall a very poor stay.

Disliked: The room was dirty stains all over the mattress. Marks all over the kettle chipped walls and door very poor quality for the amount we paid very disappointed

Liked: In need of a good refurbishment especially the bathroom, dirty cups and glasses left in the room
Disliked: More choice of bread at breakfast no yoghurt

Stay at the Amazing Arnos...

Liked: Absolutely love this quirky hotel and have previously scored it much higher. The location is amazing and the hotel has so much history and great vibes. It's next to a beautiful park with easy bus links into Bristol and beyond. Awesome hotel that we absolutely love.
Disliked: We are both vegan and would love to have breakfast and other meals here but it's impossible due to the lack of options. This has always been an issue but the breakfast used to be cheap so we would just choose a few things and bring our own stuff to supplement it. This year, Parking Eye has been added if you want to park there. Not a company I really want having my data but we didn't have a choice as couldn't find safe parking nearby.

For such a lovely looking...

Liked: The staff were very friendly, pleasant and helpful.
Disliked: The room was very warm, which was made worse by the limited opening offered by the windows. The room wasn’t cleaned when we away from the hotel afternoon. The bed was made, but nothing else done. The bathroom was borderline filthy, with a sink that was barely being held onto the plinth. It was also attached with sealant. Towels and toilet paper were not replenished either. The hotel was very understaffed, to the point where there was a massive queue waiting to check in while we were waiting to be issued with a new keycard.
