Best hotel
Liked: ALL OF IT! Amazing, comfy and best location to go everywhere. 10/10!!! Love the safety because they close at 9:00 pm the door so you can only enter with the room key to the hotel.

Liked: Location is perfect, very to near Millenium Park. The hotel provided a free early check-in option which was quite good. The room was a bit small but ok for short stays. Bathroom was pretty good.
Disliked: Rude staff during the night

Liked: Phenomenal four night stay. Rooms are large with heigh ceilings wonderful bathrooms and ample storage space. Cannot fault the hotel from start to finish.
Disliked: Nothing.

Liked: I really liked the location, the vibe, and design. I have stayed at another Arlo in Australia and really enjoyed my time there.
Disliked: The wait and confined space in the lobby. There were two full lines, and not enough hands to help check in and check out people in a timely manner. Everyone had to wait a good 10 minutes.

Very good
Liked: Room on floor 17 with amazing view to Michigan Avenue. Classy,.elegant, views are to die for and location is simply perfect. Mattress and pillows are simply to die for.
Disliked: I chose Arlo Chicago as I've had an amazing experience in Arlo NoMad in NYC. One of the things I remember the most was a very warm welcome by the employees, but unfortunately it wasn't the case in Chicago. I was unsure whether a charge had been made to my account as I had been given the option to oay on site by Booking.com and after showing my credit card balance to the check in clerk, he kept insisting that wasn't possible as they didn't have my credit card on file. What do I know, right? Sometimes it's maybe better to say "don't worry, we'll find out" than arguing reality (I was charged, at least 2 weeks in advance). Nakila, on the other hand, was spotless and went out of her way to help, so kudos to her! While I'm not sure how much control Arlo has on what Booking.com does, there is a shared responsibility to make sure platforms honor the promises or conditions under which they're fishing out for customers, as eventually these hotels are selling and profitting from these platforms as well. Air conditioning is hard to regulate and noisy, and so is the mini bar. It kept me awake at night at times!
