Liked: Minimal traffic noise and convenient to shopping and food outlets.
Disliked: The noisy neighbours behind the motel that argued at 4am but that was not to do with the motel itself.

Gold old country motel

Liked: Nothing not to like. Had a pleasant stay with a nice swim. Bed decent and shower pressure best I've seen in ages.

Nice old style motel which...

Liked: Overall we had fun staying here and would be happy to return. The room suited our needs as did being able to check-in when all other places are closed. Bravo!

Old and poor facilities, will...

Liked: Only the fact that it was pet friendly, but even that was a stretch as there were no pet friendly facilities.
Disliked: Noise from other people staying at the motel well after 11:30pm, and also people smoking outside there rooms when it's smoked-free.The fridge didn't work or just wasn't cold - I think it wasn't working. The rooms were very old. The bathroom was small and old - old basin and shower with it being impossible to shower with out the 5yr old shower curtain sticking to you. The 'king' bed was 2 singles with a ridge in the middle.. The bedside tables had no bedside lamps and certainly no plugs to have phones or smart watches onncharge. These are things that shouldn't be a problem when you pay $150 per night, so I would never stay here again and never recommended anyone else staying here.

Liked: Very roomy with a rare sink, kitchen and separate bedroom
Disliked: Tap running in ensuite the whole time we were there. Reported but no plumber available to fix a washer. air Aircon worked intermittently. Furniture uncomfortable sagging couch & table you could not get your knees under.
