Lynn, Carlisle, visiting Bellahouston Park Glasgow Thu, 21 August 2014

Only stayed one night so unfortunately didn't sample the food. The hotel was immaculate, the room and ensuite were beautiful. Hotel in a very quiet part of the city. The young man on reception was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend! Will definitely return.

Liked: Spotlessley clean, very friendly staff.
Disliked: Can't think of anything!

Pleasant

Liked: The room was small but cozy. Position is good, with bus and rail connection to the city center. Breakfast buffet was varied and the room staff was nice.
Disliked: The guy at the reception was not helpful. He looked bored and uninterested every time I asked for help or information.

excellent hotel, will definitely stay...

Liked: room was a perfect size and with comfortable bedenough tea/coffee/milks for my staybreakfast was stress free providing an excellent selection of cooked/cereal items the location was perfect I enjoyed the walk from the train station and it was surrounded by some good quality restaurants and bars.
Disliked: nothing could be improved from my own personal experienceonly thing that was a negative for me was the cost of the taxi taking me to my conference destinationI had to press a button to order the cab the cab came within 10 minutes which was all good , the cost of the cab was £6.50 more expensive than my previous journey (same destination)wondered if this cost went to hotel?

Very good

Liked: Clean, comfortable, fantastic location with a lovely pub next door. Most of the staff we dealt with were extremely pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast this morning was delicious. Would we stay again... of course we would!
Disliked: We arrived in the evening, after maintenance had gone for the night, and the door lock on our room was low on charge, so sometimes it didn't open with the doorcard. The lovely Canadian lady tried all she could to get it sorted, but not a lot could be done last night - not a problem, if it didn't work, reception could let us in (the room was literally around the corner from reception anyway). This morning after breakfast, we needed the room opened and were on a tight schedule as we had to be at an appointment for 9am. No one was at reception, and there was no bell or buzzer to let anyone know we were waiting. After about 10 minutes (which seemed much longer because we were concerned about time), the receptionist returned, and we started to explain that we needed to be let into our room. I don't think he could have appeared more disinterested if he actively tried. We started to tell him what we needed help with, and, before we'd finished, said 'so you've lost your key'. We explained that this wasn't the case and that there was an issue with the lock and to check the book if he needed clarification. More standing around waiting while he unhurriedly found the note (on the top of the open page beside him), and slowly read it. We eventually got back into the room and literally had to quickly bundle our clothes back into the case and check out. Even at this point, when we dropped the key cards in the box and said our thank yous (no cost to be polite), he didn't take his eyes from his phone to acknowledge us, just an almost bored sounding 'bye'.
