Argyll Arms Hotel is set on Campbeltown's main street close to the seafront and where the ferries leave for Ardrossan. The hotel was once the Duke of Argyll's Victorian hunting lodge and now features comfortable rooms and a restaurant. Pleasant

Liked: Staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: Hotel was very dated and needs a good refurb. Shower in room was not great.

Very comfortable stay, extremely good...

Liked: Really central location… good secure car park at the rear… hotel spotlessly clean.. really friendly staff… exact opposite of a soulless chain hotel.. my room had been recently refurbished… extremely well decorated

Disliked: You can't get the shower to work without being scalding hot or freezing cold but other than that all good just need a plumber that know what to do lol 😆

An enjoyable stay. Would book...

Liked: Location ideal .
Disliked: Myself having mobility issues , a lift would have made getting to & from my room a lot easier.
