Good
Liked: Very pleasant staff, lovely breakfas, own blend coffee was very excellent. Room was airy and bright. Tea/coffee in room was nice, though only 1 teabag had to request more from reception. Very flimsy wardrobe almost fell on me when I opened it. The hot water tap was exceptionally hot, you had to fill the basin with hot and cold to wash hands, quite dangerously hot. Nice meal from the bar menu. Though £8 for a 1 inch sliver of pear tart and small soop of ice cream? They're making about £100 per tart, even though it was delicious it wasn't worth that.
Disliked: Nothing in close vicinity to visit and no nice walks close by.

Lovely stay
Liked: Very cosy and welcoming. Genuine Edwardian / Victorian country house in big gardens. Very rural. Excellent food in the dining room and cosy bar.Staff were excellent. Lovely big bedroom overlooking garden. Quiet location.Manager, Sean gave us some very useful info on visiting Derry and on how to get to the Inishowen peninsula via a little ferry from Magilligan point.
