Only the location and staff...

Liked: Location , continental Breakfast. And staff service.
Disliked: The exterior appearance needs an upgrade with paint. The public area decor and carpets all need replacing and painting. Room 2 decor is appalling as is the carpet,after one night we changed rooms to Room 3 which was not much better . The showers and bathrooms were good .

Exceptional

Liked: The location was great . Perfect for the hospital.
Disliked: The guest house could be done with a little update .

Comfortable sleep good location, would...

Liked: The property was very easy to find, off road parking available with cctv.
Disliked: None of this would stop me staying again, however,Could do with decorationRoom was not the cleanest with cobwebs etc

Good for a night but...

Liked: Ok… so this is hard but honest. I walked in and the guest house has a smell and not a nice one. Floor boards creak. Stair Carpet is stained and threadbare. However the room .. bed was clean and fresh, shower room/toilet was fine, on site parking good. It sufficed for the night that I was there. No staff on site. Remotely managed
Disliked: The smell at the entrance/stairs. The threadbare carpet on stairs. It really needs recarpeted. This will solve two problems.

Very disappointed on our trip...

Liked: Are you going to get the bus into Edinburgh with out taking the car, off road parking
Disliked: The room was smelly with mould wallpaper, falling off all over. All disgusting. I’ve taken photographs if you’d like to see them, wish I took more photos off room, which we did ask to be move

Liked: Great value, it was lovely having 4 people sharing a room, ample tea, coffee and biscuits, met one member of staff in the morning who seemed lovely, we were all happy with our stay and would stay again.
Disliked: Decor is tired and outdated, but this didn't bother us at all.
