Liked: A proper mansion in an amazing location, managed by an exceptionally nice man.

Well worth a visit!

Liked: It's was the complete package and perfect few days get away from everything, the boat house was that little bit of privacy away from the main hotel, the staff were all so welcoming and friendly. Amazing log fire in the bar. ..... I could go on.Definitely recommend this hidden jem.The 10 miles drive to the hotel is an experience !
Disliked: Few little things in the boat house to be fixed but didn't over shadow our experience and enjoyment.

Beautiful setting and Hotel, good...

Liked: Location is stunning, worth the drive down the single track road. Food is exceptional, breakfast and dinner very ggod indeed. Lovely big loungs and snu bar facilities are perfect. Slept really well in the bed, room very big and view over loch is beautiful.
Disliked: Having to leave.

Just what we needed, a...

Liked: Not your standard hotel, more of an experience. Superb location, peaceful, atmospheric, wonderful woodland walks right outside, excellent for dogs .Great food , we love it .

Liked: Ambience, location, unique, staff all excellent. Nothing was too much trouble. Will be back!
Disliked: Obvious need for some tlc but didn't detract from the character of the Hotel.

Liked: Amazing old house, beautifully decorated and every room is interesting. The views are outstanding and it is so peaceful.Best nights sleep ever with everything you could need in the room.The staff couldn’t be more helpful and made our visit really special.Food was exceptional.
Disliked: We loved it all - it’s not a brand new gleaming hotel chain but that’s not what we wanted - if you like that type of thing then this isn’t for you.
