Liked: Very cute and peaceful. Pretty views. Loved the fireplace and they provided food to make breakfast. Great location and the management went above and beyond with exceptional customer service. Will definitely return again and hopefully for a longer stay.

Beautiful cottage, a lovely getaway...

Liked: My partner and I loved the barrel hot tub, it was absolutely amazing. The cottage was incredibly well furnished, and the glass-encased porch was beautiful as well. The fridge was stocked with a great selection of breakfast foods.
Disliked: Everything was wonderful, but the shower flooded on our first night (promptly fixed on the second night) and a few extra bathmats in case this happens might have been helpful. A recycling bin and larger trash bins would have been handy as well, but everything was generally amazing.

Liked: It was unlike any other stay we have experienced, every detail of the property and customer experience was carefully thought out. From the easy check in, chocolates on the pillows, spa ready to go, fire ready and the delicious fresh bread, sausage, eggs bacon and milk varying depending on dietary requirements. It was clear that Jessica was about creating an unforgettable experience rather than just a nice property in a good location. The cottages were beyond gorgeous, the location couldn’t have felt more private and serene yet so close to everything. We will definitely be coming back.

Liked: Arcadia Cottage was a wonderful escape, starting with its location.Super quiet, surrounded by trees and far from the noise of the city.We stayed at Forest Cottage, and it was absolutely delightful. Everything met — and even exceeded — my expectations. Breakfast was included, and I honestly expected less, but instead we found fresh seasonal fruits and veggies, bacon, fresh bread, eggs, and ground coffee waiting for us in the fridge. Along with other thoughtful extras, it made for a generous and complete breakfast. We even decided to extend our stay for another night, and the host kindly provided more breakfast supplies.The bed was one of the best experiences of my life! Super, super comfortable, and with the perfect amount of pillows (this is something I always pay attention to — and I’m usually disappointed elsewhere, but here there were plenty!). I was pleasantly surprised. The mattress and pillows were incredibly comfy. Jessica, the host, told me they’ve recently replaced all the mattresses across the cottages.The fireplace was another highlight — we were provided with all the firewood and tools needed to use it, which made the stay even more cozy and special.There was also a minibar with reasonably priced items and lovely touches like complimentary chocolates and a delicious house-made liqueur.The area around the cottage offers plenty of options for hiking, cycling, scenic lookouts, and reconnecting with nature.The size of the cottage was just right — I loved it. The spa was clean and worked well, the bathroom was great too. Smart TV, wifi, and all the kitchen utensils you could need were provided.Jessica and Chris were both lovely and attentive. Jessica helped us with everything and we had great conversations. I really appreciate when the owners are present and connected to the place — it felt like she was genuinely proud of her cottages, and it shows 100%. They are beautiful, clean, and very well cared for.I'd love to be back!
