If we go back to...
Liked: We have stayed in many hotels and bed & breakfast establishments and this was one of the best. Our hosts Sarah and Frazer were very welcoming. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. A great choice of food for breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: Booked this place months ago purely on the reviews I saw on here and foolishly ignored the 3 star review. More later on that. After booking we recieved several emails from this B&B which I scanned briefly and filed away for nearer the time. Last week I sent a text to them stating my name in full and confirming arrival time as 'about teatime'. I then recieved a phone call, where she was unsure of my name (despite the text saying it) and wanting to know when I'd arrive as "some people's idea of teatime was different to others". I confirmed "about 5pm".Alarm bells started ringing quietly at this point but I rolled with it. On the day of arrival, I got another phone call at 5.05pm wanting to know where we were, as they were going out later! (Sorry if we had dared to inconvenience you during our short break which was supposed to have been relaxing and enjoyable). When we arrived we were met by the male of the couple who was to be fair a total contrast to his Mrs. Polite, friendly and engaging. Absolutely no issues with him. He showed us our room which was opposite the small dining room and was TINY. A double bed, two chairs and a small wardrobe. The en-suite was tiny as well with bifold doors to enter and the same for the shower. The sink was too low and too small, and apart from a window sill above the toilet there was nowhere to put anything.Moving on, that evening we went into town and dined at the Pier Head which was OK but quite expensive. After rounding off the evening with a quick drink at the Red Lion we walked back to our cell inside Arbour House. Sadly my stomach wasn't happy at this point for an unknown reason - could have been the meal (shellfish) or could have been to do with the medication I'm forced to take after a kidney transplant a few month ago. Sadly during the night and despite taking imodium I suffered an embarrassing incident (albeit a small one).

Pleasant stay
Liked: The host was welcoming and gave us advice on where we could visit during our stay.Breakfast was really lovely. There was a great selection of food (pastries, fruit, muesli, cereal, bread, smoked salmon, Spanish omelette etc) and she also brought us a toast with egg, avocado, etc. For others visiting, it isn't a full English but that suited me well. The room had a kettle and tea/coffee and biscuits. There was also a radiator which helped keep it warm in quite a windy area. The hot water in the bathroom was constant and we had no problems. Towels and shower gel/shampoo/conditioner provided. Bed was comfortable. No problems with noise. Bed was made each day and the room was clean. There was a smart TV with all the main apps necessary. The location was also good if you don't mind a 10 minute walk into the town, which was ideal for us as it was away from most of the
Disliked: The room wasn't that big for two people but that couldn't be helped and we made ourselves cosy.
