A tasteful hotel with spa...

Liked: You can’t beat this location 2 blocks to the st Sauveur Cathedral and the place des Cardeurs. The hotel is peaceful and the grounds beautiful, modern interior, tastefully decorated. The pool is wonderful to rest and take a pause between sightseeing, and you can enjoy the high end spa facilities as well. A very pleasant surprise and idea place to stay for 3 days (or more) exploring the town of Aix en Provence.

Good hotel, good facilities but...

Liked: We had stayed here on a number of accasions in the past. A clear attraction is the Spa with facilities, Sauna, Steam Room, Jacuzzi etc included in the stay. Treatments are not expensive, if desired. Outdoor pool is good. The only restaurant has unchanging menu, which for a 10 day stay is restrictive. Aix has many good restaurants!Dog friendly from, an earlier visit, and still is.One negative: hotel offered to help with taxi booking from Aix TGV station to hotel. This they did but charge by the taxi of Euros 80 was Euros 30 more than conventional taxi!!

Liked: Location is unbeatable. It is right in the old part of town and so convenient. You can walk everywhere. It’s safe and easy to get around.
Disliked: The spa is dated and needs updating

Exceptional

Liked: The outdoor pool (and its surroundings and the spa centre) as well as the restaurant (for dinner) were all very good.
Disliked: The breakfast was OK but could be improved.
