Liked: It was close to the beach
Disliked: It was filthy, the linens were stained, had holes and very uncomfortable. The towels were stained and had tears in them. The noise was constant and no insulation . The floor was sinking in .

Very close to the beach,...

Liked: The location is outstanding, 2 min walk from the beach. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room actually has everything you need for a short stay.
Disliked: In this motel, you pay a lot for being close to the beach. Otherwise, it lives a lot to desire. I can live with the sand on the floor when we just checked in. However, the sheets are so overused that they are gray. I was contemplating for a while if they were even changed. WiFi was also not good. Even Google maps did not work with it. I came to this motel directly from staying 3 nights in a quite decent boutique hotel in the Garden District of New Orleans, which is not a cheap city. I paid there for three nights the same as I paid for two nights in Aqua View. Well, if you just want to be near the beach no matter what, Aquarius View provides a cheaper option.

Liked: I loved that it was clean & quiet. The location to the beach was fantastic!!!! I talked to both the day clerk & night clerk & they were both super friendly!!

Very good

Liked: Tara (at the front desk) is awesome! We got into town a little sooner than we expected and we were traveling with our dog, so we asked if we could check in early. Tara and the head of housekeeping (who is also an awesome lady but I didn't get her name!) bumped our room to the top of the list to get it ready as soon as possible for us! There was a small early check in fee -which we expected. But there was also a pet fee and a security/damage deposit fee that we didn't expect. The damage fee is refunded though of course if you don't throw a crazy wild party and wreck the room! As awesome as the staff is though, the room itself was not the greatest. The facility as a whole is a little old and slightly run down with some definite signs of age. The beds were comfy enough though and the beach access is maybe 50 yards away so that was a big plus! There were pros and definitely some cons to this little spot, but it met our needs for the one night we needed it! Thanks again ladies!!

Not for me, I expected...

Liked: The location, a few steps from the beach .
Disliked: Beds where uncomfortable, (noise)Bed linen look dirty. (Stained)Tiny space, old looking towels, shower drain clogged every time we used the shower.

Near the beach

Liked: I liked that it was very close to the beach. I would stay here again for the price
Disliked: People were playing loud music late. Rooms weren't very clean. Our restroom was smelly.

Bad

Liked: The staff was awesome
Disliked: I did not get the room I paid for

Superb

Liked: The staff were very helpful and nice, the beach was just steps away and the pool was nice and clean. The room while dated was clean and worked for what we needed. For the price and location it was a great place to stay!
