Located on Quadra Island April Point Resort is a 10-minute BC Ferries boat ride from Campbell River. The resort is a short 5-minute drive from the Quathiaski Cove Ferry terminal. Enjoy breathtaking views of Discovery Passage Gowlland Harbor and the Coastal Mountains. Your accommodations includes Cable TV wifi in-room coffee and parking. Our dining facilities are open daily for Lunch and Dinner. There is no scheduled water taxi shuttling to Painter's Lodge. Great location and good value...

Liked: - The location is amazing, quiet and lovely place.- The staff was so helpful - The on-site restaurant with local meals- We loved the breakfast bag offered
Disliked: - It would be good to have a bottle opener or corkscrew. Same for glasses (not only plastic cup)

Great spot

Liked: Location is unbeatable. Staff went out of their way to help. Rooms were a bit dated, but mostly comfortable.
Disliked: A bit pricey. Breakfast box was a missed opportunity - change it up please. No easy borrowing of canoes / kayaks to explore the shore....

Comfortable, quiet, and convenient

Liked: Location, private boat launch for going paddling
Disliked: The water in the room not being drinkable was weird/concerning.

Poor

Liked: The breakfast in a box covered the food groups but was tasteless. It was adequate The room was very basic but clean
Disliked: The whole place was very tired. The unlit parking area was poor. The property should advertise that it is a challenge for people with mobility problems Our room was at the back side so therefore no view of the strait and the ships and city. I should have asked for a room at the front
