Liked: The room was very large and bright, makes you very cheerful. The view from the window was beautiful

Nice stay with space of...

Liked: Really good location and staffs are helpful and nice
Disliked: Heavy smell in the room of basement, and the Quilt is so old that the cotton has gone break into pieces

Relaxing weekend

Liked: Located in central Windermere in easy walking distance from town and restaurants. Excellent room with great views.
Disliked: Windermere traffic and road works.

Liked: Perfect location, nearer to Windermere but not central so nice and quiet. The staff were perfect, a busy bank holiday weekend and the staff still took their time with our service. Free parking. Rooms were immaculate, such a gorgeous bathroom. Breakfast menu was extensive and tasty. All ‘extra’ charges clearly defined
Disliked: No lift in the property meant that the stairs were a bit tiring. Apart from that, no issues.

Disliked: Bath would have been difficult for an older,frail person and as such just showered

Liked: The property was beautiful in a reserved old building style. The breakfast room/dining room was gorgeous and the furnishings were stunning. Staff were lovely. It was just a few hundred metres to the Windermere strip shops, had private off road parking and the £3pp each way bus to Bowness where the lake cruises leave from was only a couple of hundred metres away. Breakfast was great and the staff very helpful with the luggage.
Disliked: A lift would be fantastic but retro/fitting old buildings is not possible.

Nice stay but be prepared...

Liked: Pleasant property, nice views from the dining room.
Disliked: Colourful decor not to everyone’s taste. Tea and coffee facilities precariously balanced on a small tray. Might be better on a shelf in one side of the wardrobe? No plug sockets near mirror to style hair. Cream carpet with nowhere to put potentially muddy boots. Disappointing scrambled eggs with breakfast. Check out at 10.30 am half an hour too early!
