Set in Eden Valley the 19th century Appleby Manor Country House Hotel features an AA rosette winning restaurant which serves fresh local produce. Views across the hotel's beautiful landscaped garden can be enjoyed with a drink on the terrace. Each room has a seating area some of which surround traditional bay windows overlooking the gardens and Appleby Castle. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel. Bistro 1871 offers guests a relaxed and informal dining style and a real log fire is the center piece of the traditionally furnished lounge in which guests can enjoy a drink. Amazing Staff

Liked: Stunning views and upgrade to Garden Room. Nice touch with a hidden Easter Egg Sunday morning.
Disliked: Gravel path was a challenge with a case.

Disliked: Room 4 not much space between toilet and bath. Every time got out of the shower to dry knocked the toilet roll of the holder so little room
