Great hospitality in checking in and in the restaurant; nicest room we've been in for years. Great place!
Disliked: Nope.

Liked: It was cute and clean
Disliked: The shower head water was terrible as it just sprayed a little bit of water. The resturant was closed ( which was the main reason we booked this property as I loved their breakfasts in the past)) when we booked it there was no mention of it being closed.

Charming and cozy with a...
Liked: I absolutely loved the charming, spacious rooms at the inn. Each room had a cozy, welcoming feel that immediately made me feel at home. The location was another huge plus — just a few blocks from Downtown San Luis Obispo, which made it easy to explore shops, restaurants, and local attractions without needing to drive. I truly felt that the inn offered great value for the price we paid, especially considering how much character and comfort it provided. While the property is a bit outdated, that only added to its unique charm. It felt like stepping into a beautifully preserved dollhouse, with quaint details and vintage touches that made the experience even more memorable. One small but thoughtful gesture that stood out to me was being offered a freshly baked sugar cookie upon check-in — such a sweet and personal touch that set a warm tone for our entire stay. Overall, it was a delightful experience, and I would happily stay there again.
Disliked: I was disappointed that the rooms didn’t have a microwave and that the continental breakfast was limited to a muffin, yogurt, fruit, and a choice of coffee, tea, or cider. Many places are now upgrading their breakfast offerings with options like sausage, eggs, and waffle stations, making the traditional continental breakfast feel a bit outdated. I would personally prefer either paying less with no breakfast included or paying a little more for a better, more modern breakfast experience. I also wasn’t able to check-in early. We arrived around 2 hours before check-in, but no rooms were ready. One of the ways I measure my experience is by the ability to check in early. I’m even willing to pay extra for early check-in, but unfortunately, that wasn’t an option here.

Basic clean hotel room
Liked: Location was convenient. Our room was small but clean.
Disliked: Breakfast was disappointing. It consisted of an apple, a yogurt and a prepackaged muffin. The coffee was VERY weak, almost no flavor.

Patty has zero customer service...
Liked: This place is a JOKE!!!! The beds are old and half the rooms are falling apart… The manager Patty is HORRIBLE!!!! My boyfriend called to talk to her about a charge that was put on my card after we cheated out and she was explaining rude and hung up on him. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!
