The Spotlight on Apple Annie's Inn

Affordable Convenience Just Minutes from the Music

Modern convenience meets budget-friendly comfort at Apple Annie's Inn, a no-frills, cozy motel-style stay located right off Interstate 65. Just a 10-minute drive from the heart of downtown Nashville, this inn is perfect for music fans looking to stay close to the action without breaking the bank. Rooms are simple but efficient, featuring dark wood furnishings, cable TV, a microwave, and a mini-fridge. Some rooms even offer spa tubs for a relaxing soak after a long night out.

Why Concert-goers love it

Concert-goers love the inn's quick highway access to top Nashville venues like the Grand Ole Opry and downtown honky-tonks. You can be door-to-door in under 15 minutes. The 24-hour front desk is a plus for late-night returns, and the quiet, off-downtown location means you’ll get some peace after the show. Smoking rooms are available upon request, and free Wi-Fi helps you upload those concert pics ASAP.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a simple, wallet-friendly stay
  • Solo travelers coming in for a quick concert trip
  • Couples wanting a base for weekend music adventures (especially with spa tubs in some rooms)
  • Fans needing a quiet place to recharge
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who want to save for merch and drinks

Food and Drink Options

While the inn doesn’t have on-site dining, there are vending machines for late-night snacks. With downtown just a short drive away, you’ll have plenty of options from 24-hour diners to walkable fast food nearby. Bring back leftovers and store them in your in-room fridge. Breakfast isn’t served on-site, but you’ll find nearby spots to grab a bite the morning after.

Nightlife Options

No on-site bar, but that’s hardly an issue when you’re so close to Nashville’s legendary nightlife. From honky-tonks on Broadway to low-key lounges and rooftop bars, everything is within a 10-15 minute drive or rideshare. Local bars and clubs are plentiful in nearby neighborhoods like East Nashville.

What People Say

Guests frequently mention the friendly staff, clean rooms, and the value for money. Many appreciate how quickly they can get downtown from the inn and say it’s a safe, quiet place to crash after a night out. The in-room microwaves and fridges are also a plus, especially for longer stays.

Areas for Improvement

This isn’t a luxury hotel, so don’t expect fancy decor or high-end amenities. Some guests note that the property is a bit dated and could use a refresh, and being right by the highway, light sleepers might notice some road noise. Still, for the price and location, most agree it’s a solid choice.

The Bottom Line

If you’re heading to Nashville for the music and need a no-fuss, budget-friendly base close to the venues, Apple Annie’s Inn delivers exactly what you need.

Carol, Pensaola, visiting Bridgestone Arena

The room was super clean - bed, bath and floors. However this hotel is in a seedy neighborhood (burglar bars on all businesses in the area). Room had bare necessities - no coffee maker, no hair dryer, no hand towels. Two bath towels and two wash cloths. That was it. Management and work staff all friendly.

Disliked: Clean.

Martha, Cleveland, TN, visiting War Memorial Auditorium Nashville

One trash can in room; refrigerator was not plugged up and when I did plug it in nothing got cold; no air on in the room when I got there - very hot to walk in after driving 3 hours; not a very good area; will not stay there again.

Disliked: No shower in room - large tub which was nice, but would have preferred the shower.

The hostel is convenient for...

Liked: I booked Apple Annie’s Inn because I was in town for the Coldplay concert, and by the time I checked, there were no other hotels available near the stadium. It worked perfectly for that purpose and was convenient for a short stay. However, there are a few things to note. The rooms are located outside, which made me feel a bit uneasy about security at night. The floor in my room was a little dusty, and the AC unit was quite loud, which might bother light sleepers. Also, for the room price, I was surprised there was no complimentary water—though there’s a vending machine near reception for drinks.Overall, this place is fine if you’re looking for a simple spot to sleep after an event. It’s not fancy, but it does the job for a short stay, especially if convenience is your priority.
Disliked: The rooms are located outside, which made me feel a bit uneasy about security. The floor was a bit dusty, the AC was loud, and no complimentary water was provided despite the room price—only a vending machine near reception.

Won’t stay again

Disliked: The room was dirty and my brand new white socks was black from the floor in room. Had to throw them away! Bathroom was dirty. No complimentary soap, shampoo or conditioner in room. Remote was sticky
