The Appia la Fayette is 650 ft from Eurostar connections at the Gare du Nord Train Station and a quarter mile from the Gare de l'Est. It offers air-conditioned accommodations and some rooms have a balcony. A TV with satellite and cable channels and a private bathroom with toiletries and a hairdryer are available in each room. Comfortable hotel in a great...

Liked: Staff at reception were friendly. The room, though small, was perfectly adequate for a one night stay and location, near the Gare du Nord was good for an early Eurostar.This hotel had been recommended by friends which was helpful as there are a lot of hotels in the area which may not be of the same standard.
Disliked: There was a strange smell when we arrived in the room, as if some sort of air freshener had been sprayed to get rid of smell of smoking. We got used to it but it wasn't very pleasant.

Recommend this hotel

Liked: The location was excellent - 5 minute walk from Gare du Nord and metro and trains right across Paris. Good aircon, lifts and a nice little balcony along with decent sound proofing made the stay very pleasant.

Had a comfortable stay

Liked: Quiet room in the buzzling area. Room is cleaned everyday. Coffee bags are refilled everyday. There’s water dispenser at the lobby so that you don’t have to throw plastic bottles.
Disliked: Old elevatot
