Set in private grounds above Lake Windermere Aphrodites Group offers luxury themed suites with spa baths or private hot tubs. There is free parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. Full English and continental breakfasts are available in the restaurant or can be delivered to the room. The suites are sumptuously decorated with romantic features and luxurious furnishings. All suites have a seating area flat-screen satellite TV with DVD player and a modern bathroom with Molton Brown toiletries and a double-size bath. Aphrodites Group features a sauna and steam room. Not good

Liked: The room was beautiful
Disliked: There was no drinks in the room which I thought there would be at least something considering the price. The breakfast in the morning they got the order so wrong we ordered two full English and they gave us a vegan one and didn’t fix it. They also missed half our order and charged us more. Staff were rude and unhelpful also. Do not recommend for the price. I feel like we got discriminated because we were a young couple

Absolute let down. Go stay...

Liked: The hot tub I’ve stayed twice before and it’s been excellent but that’s not the case now
Disliked: The reception area unfortunately has a strong smell of stale urine and the attitude of the lady on the desk left a lot to be desired.The lady on the desk would not except that on booking.com breakfast was included (not that I eat breakfast but it was included)The £700 per night suite I stayed in had Stains on the carpets Brown marks
