Overall a fantastic stay

Liked: Great breakfast friendly staff perfect facilities.
Disliked: Hot tub unexpectedly turned off centrally at 10pm when the literature said it would be 10.30pm

Disliked: Staff wasn't helpfull couldn't work hot tub went to main property and they just give us the same instructions has the QR even no we explained we had trued that previously and didn't work.

Exceptional

Liked: We booked a fairly last minute stay to celebrate our upcoming wedding anniversary, and being heavily pregnant I was looking for somewhere cosy, relaxing and rejuvenating. We were ever so kindly given a complimentary upgrade to the Elysian, and our suite was absolutely stunning. Incredibly spacious, modern and comfortable. I loved the thoughtful extras, like the ice machine and the 'proper' coffee machine with milk frother! The view across the balcony onto the fields was beautiful, and really set the scene when relaxing in the hot tub. The lovely breakfast was easily ordered via a QR code from the room, and delivered to the room in the morning - big portions, kept us full all day! The bed was incredibly comfortable - no easy feat at this stage of my pregnancy, and was greatly appreciated to have been given extra pillows as requested (pillows also incredibly soft!). We paid the extra for the late checkout, which made the stay feel far less rushed in the morning. The staff were lovely and friendly, and we would absolutely love to stay here again and be able to fully appreciate the sauna and hot tub etc. Thank you for our much needed break!

Charged twice, rude staff &...

Liked: Location and cleanliness. Room was good.
Disliked: Staff was very rude on arrival and we had to pay for the room again even though we paid upfront through booking.com. They didn’t accept Apple Pay for the security deposit and refused to use another card without paying for the room again? Ridiculous logic. Stated I should read my emails - no emails stated this. The sauna in the room only lasted a few hours so didn’t get the benefit of what we paid for. The breakfast was delivered earlier than requested and we were woken by banging and ringing to collect from door, only to realise the requests were ignored anyway. Breakfast was bland. Questioned the payment charge again at check out and they blamed booking.com but still held the 2nd payment until they could refund at a later date.

Very relaxing stay

Liked: Staff were friendly , room was clean and we even a complimentary upgrade to a spa suite which was lovely.
Disliked: Nothing I can think of that I would change .

Liked: It was so welcoming and charming from the staff, they were polite and nice and chatty.Room was comfortable and breakfast was fine
Disliked: I really don’t feel it was value for money. 1 night here middle of the week I feel was just far too expensive For one night and two people to cost the amount it did without any of the extras ordered doesn’t really leave any room or affordability to buy the hampers or bottles.The weather (not the establishments fault) did mean things like the hot tub were of course less appealing but i stayed in the lakes for several days but could only afford to stay here for one day really and then stayed of similar quality elsewhere.Again, the staff were excellent and the establishment is comfortable but just was not worth the money when also including costs of your actual trip to the lakes I.e going out to eat.Breakfast also didn’t seem to pay attention to notes about the food when it came to overnight oats
