Comfortable beds; large, well equipped room and bathroom; very quiet; all spotlessly clean; location perfect for (5 minutes walk away); great view of castle; loads of great pubs and restaurants nearby. Very near to Station and Princes Street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go to Apex again.

Liked: On checking out, they offered to look after our luggage if we wished until we caught our train home.
Disliked: Scaffolding over entrance and workmen busy on our floor but not disturbed in any way despite this.

I would choose it again

Liked: Everything was as expected, in the historical centre, parking, strong wifi, very nice bathroom

good location to explore Edinburgh

Liked: Location, walking distance to the major attractive places of Edinburgh. Supermarket is just opposite the hotel. Car park is convenient.

Disliked: Small bath , toilet roll holder position difficult to reach, but minor issues really

Liked: Great location, staff were lovely, room was very clean and quiet.
Disliked: The beds were quite uncomfortable but that was the only downside

Liked: Room was comfortable, a good size and exceptionally well appointed- it had everything we needed and more! Breakfast was good too.
Disliked: Used face cloth left on sink and half glass of water left by bed.
