Comfortable beds; large, well equipped room and bathroom; very quiet; all spotlessly clean; location perfect for (5 minutes walk away); great view of castle; loads of great pubs and restaurants nearby. Very near to Station and Princes Street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would go to Apex again.

Liked: On checking out, they offered to look after our luggage if we wished until we caught our train home.
Disliked: Scaffolding over entrance and workmen busy on our floor but not disturbed in any way despite this.

Liked: Great location- with helpful staff and easy check in - facilities were excellent with lovely bathroom - fridge and safe in room which was a bonus
Disliked: Several lights in room were missing lightbulbs

Large rooms, great location

Disliked: Construction work made afternoon resting impossible. The dinning room was out of order for the entire stay.

Excellent Location, Clean and Comfortable

Liked: Location was superb. Not too far from the train station and all key tourist attractions are within walking distance. The room was a really good size, the shower was gorgeous and the shampoo, conditioner and similar provisions were of a good quality. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful. Filter water was available in the corridor of our floor and that was welcome
Disliked: The pillows were too soft for us and the heating system in the room did not work. We were cold the first night but when we informed the reception staff we were provided with an electric heater and all was fine after that. We had to ask reception for milk regularly as there either was none, or a little amount provided in the room.
