Liked: Beautiful building but very dated
Disliked: Bathroom was a bit below par could do with a revamp and ventilation.

Disappointing not as advertised want...

Liked: Not much, very disappointing in every sense of the word.
Disliked: Room was dirty and very ‘ tatty’ cupboards and drawers dusty and dirty, tea cups cracked and looked as if they had been in another restaurant as logo depicted? Bathroom no plug in handwashing basin, hot tap rotated when tried to operate it toilet black below waterline a lot of mildew in shower cubicle also bedside table sticky and had what looked like used dental floss on it? No visible staff to welcome guests.

Liked: Friendly staff and neighbours lots of historical stuff so many different types of birds
Disliked: Hotel could do with a tidy up, windows painted and walls painted on top floors outside maybe garden updated some flowers, decking replaced rubbish hidden in trees and and what looks like old wooden bar removed that's used for storage or maybe turned into a shed ie covered up so you can't see through green netting there were to rooms close by one had access to a large balcony looking over garden mine had a window but no access to it those to rooms could share large balcony maybe a door instead of window in room 14 I kept window shut at all times when out exploring as easy access to room from other room as door open to balcony and could to with larger fans in room as small ones don't to u any favours in hot weather rooms get extremely hot at night

Beautiful location, lovely room wouldn’t...

Liked: The best thing about this property is the location, in a beautiful little town very close to exploring Stonehenge. The property itself was lovely, great room. Bathroom was a little dated but ok.
Disliked: The false advertisement of the breakfast. I basically paid just under £10 to eat two slices of toast. A maintenance man took our breakfast order, he explained he wasn’t happy doing it, I’m guessing they were short staffed after we heard a row between staff at 5:25am! There wasn’t any fruit or yogurt as advertised. The cooked breakfast wasn’t nice at all, again, I don’t know if it was because of the staffing issue. My ONE poached egg wasn’t drained and floating in water. The ONE hash brown was dripping in fat. It wasn’t to my taste at all, so I made do with the toast that I made myself.
