The Spotlight on Antoinette Hotel Wimbledon

Comfort & Convenience in the Heart of Wimbledon

Modern and relaxed, the Antoinette Hotel Wimbledon blends comfort with a touch of classic charm. Situated right on The Broadway, it’s within easy walking distance of Wimbledon’s mainline station—perfect for catching a train to Central London venues or exploring local nightlife. With free on-site parking, a peaceful roof garden, and air-conditioned rooms, it’s a practical and pleasant base for concert-goers.

Why Concert-goers love it

This hotel is all about location and ease. Just under 15 minutes on foot from Wimbledon Station, you’ll have direct train and underground access to London’s top music venues—without the need for late-night Uber hunts. Rooms are quiet and comfortable, giving you a welcome place to crash after a night out. The flexible 2 PM check-in gives you time to settle in before the show, while the 11 AM check-out is late enough for a slow morning recovery.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a central spot with easy transport
  • Solo travelers attending a must-see gig
  • Couples making a romantic weekend of it
  • Fans wanting a quieter post-concert recovery space
  • Budget-conscious music fans who appreciate free parking and Wi-Fi

Food and Drink Options

Start your day (or recover from your night) with a full English or continental breakfast served daily at the Rosewater Restaurant. While there’s no mention of late-night dining or 24/7 room service, the hotel’s central location means you’re steps from takeout spots, pubs, and cafés on The Broadway and beyond. Tea and coffee making facilities in every room are a nice bonus for late-night or early-morning cravings.

Nightlife Options

While the hotel itself doesn’t host live music, you’re within walking distance of bars and lounges in Wimbledon town centre. If you’re heading into London, the quick train connection opens up access to iconic nightlife districts like Soho, Camden, and Brixton.

What People Say

Guests love the free parking—a rarity in London—and the friendly, helpful staff. Many highlight the hotel’s cleanliness, comfort, and convenience to transport links. The roof garden is a nice touch for a quiet moment before or after a show. Reviewers often mention the hotel offers excellent value for money in a pricey city.

Areas for Improvement

Some rooms are a bit on the small side, and the décor may feel a little dated to those expecting ultra-modern interiors. No on-site bar or 24-hour food options may be a drawback for night owls. Still, the local pubs and eateries help fill the gap.

The Bottom Line

If you want a well-connected, quiet and affordable stay after a big gig—especially with the bonus of free parking—the Antoinette Hotel Wimbledon is a smart choice.

Lovely except Tom on Reception

Liked: The room was great, and the bed was so comfy
Disliked: The staff member on the desk/bar Saturday Evening, he was called Tom. I ordered a glass of Sauvingon Blanc, which was what it was listed as on the wine list, the wine he gave me was Sauvignon Blanc Semillon which is a blend of wines. I pointed this out to him, but he refused to change it without me paying twice!! And Was Inpolite. It left a bad mark on our night away, which was very disappointing

Comfortable bed, not a happy...

Liked: Comfortable bed. Great Location: Close to Wimbledon tennis where we had been all day.
Disliked: Parking was an issue, there were no spaces left when we arrived 9pm that evening. Exhausted after a very long day we just wanted to chill and have an early night. Receptionist directed us to a public carpark 100 yards down the road but this didn’t say anything about overnight parking on a Sunday. The receptionist said it was free overnight but notices in carpark mentioned if you don’t pay you will be fined. We didn’t want to park there. He then suggested we park on double yellow lines opposite hotel because they weren’t active on a Sunday evening. We would have to move our car before 7am next morning! To where? This was so upsetting we felt like getting back in the car and leaving. I protested that this wasn’t good enough but he said there was nothing he could do. Eventually we were told that someone was just leaving (at 9pm?) and we managed to get that parking space. I have to say that the staff were polite. The next morning our electricity went off. We saw a member of staff looking into a cupboard with switches, probably an electric box. I Informed reception as we left, she nodded. We didn’t bother to stay for breakfast as no electricity.
