A splendid place to stay

Would not visit again whilst...

Liked: The food was great quality, and the staff friendly and accommodating. The room was good and comfortable with a nice range of toiletries.
Disliked: The works that were being undertaken were described on the site, but I didn't honestly realise the impact this was going to have on our stay. The bar was closed and the toilets were so far away. So the 5 of us colleagues had drinks outside (our choice!) and then as it cooled down further we had drinks and food inside - but this room didn't have the comfort / ambience of a bar and the trip to the toilets was disruptive and annoying! I don't think the price for one night was fair for the disruption caused by these short term works.

Liked: Beautifullly decorated and clearly well cared for
Disliked: Slight inconvenience of being in a separate block which could have meant getting very wet if it had been raining whilst going for breakfast

Liked: The property was stunning!! Every room was beautifully decorated and the gardens although to wet to walk round from what we saw looked amazing
Disliked: It’s not that we didn’t like it, but during our stay the orangery where the main bar is was having building work done so the set a temporary bar up in another room which proved probabilistic with service but understandable. The only other thing to note would be the pillow cases, everything besides this was immaculate

Lovely pleasant stay at Ansty...

Liked: Staff really welcoming. Breakfast and evening meals delicious and good quality. Bedrooms really spacious, well presented and very comfortable. Location ideal for works in Coventry. Definitely recommend a stay.

Very poor customer service considering...

Liked: It was in an ideal place for me to base myself for work.
Disliked: The service was terrible. From the checking in to checking out. The receptionist took my card when I checked in and entered all of my card details including the CVV number. There was no barI ordered a coffee separately in the morning. The hotel were unable to provide me with a receipt. I had to request a handwritten receipt. Overall a very poor service considering the price paid.
