Lovely property; welcoming hosts, excellent...

Liked: We were able to check in early as we had a funeral to go to. And breakfast was exceptionally good.

10 out of 10 Fab-u-lous...

Liked: You couldn't wish for better hosts than Michael and Olivia. Together, they run a beautifully decorated and maintained B&B. Attention is paid to detail, beautiful white fluffy towels for the bathroom, and fine quality bed linen on a comfy bed. Breakfast was exceptional, and time will be taken by the hosts to ensure that you have a menu that will delight. The food is of the highest standard, sourced locally and cooked to your individual liking. There is nothing negative to say, and we will certainly be returning.Lynne and Mick
Disliked: Nothing at all to dislike....

Quiet, cosy and comfortable.

Liked: The welcome pot of tea and cake on arrival was a lovely gesture. The towels and linen were 1st class. The bed was very comfortable, and the location was very quiet but close enough to the seafront.Olivia and Michael were perfect hosts.
Disliked: There is nothing to dislike, but it does have a lot of stairs if you struggle with that sort of thing.

Beautiful stay

Liked: We had an absolutely amazing stay. Olivia and Michael’s house is so beautiful, charming, and tastefully decorated. The room (Turret) we stayed in was clean and light, and had all the amenities for a comfortable stay. The weather was lovely so we’d get the morning sun stream through the bedroom and bathroom windows which is such a treat. They were both very very lovely hosts, their breakfast was especially delightful eating a variety of fruits, croissant and cooked breakfast surrounded by beautiful paintings, colour, and texture. To top it off the house is very accessible to the seafront and the old town.Honestly, it was the highlight of our stay, and we’d stay here again without hesitation if we’re down in Hastings.Thank you both Olivia and Michael for a wonderful stay.

I'm afraid that it was...

Liked: The house was attractive, with plenty of interesting pieces of china, etc.
Disliked: We were expecting a room with a large double bed, but it was only 4'6"wide. Our stay was for two nights, but the room was not made up after the first night. We were also expecting a seating area in the room, which there was not. A 'sea view' was an exaggeration - just a glimpse in the distance.

Lovely, peaceful, relaxing, good night's...

Liked: Our stay at Anne's House was lovely. I cannot fault anything. The room was spacious and very clean. The walk in shower was very good. The breakfast was of very good quality and served in a beautiful peaceful room. The owners Olivia and Michael were both lovely. Will definitely be returning to stay if in Hastings again.
Disliked: Nothing could have been better, all great.

An absolute gem with delicious breakfast

Liked: An absolute gem. Beautiful house with beautiful art - a comfortable living room to read a book in, a gorgeous dining room to enjoy breakfast in, and a beautiful bedroom with exceptionally comfortable beds. Breakfast was amazing and the owners took care to accommodate my gluten free needs. The couple that owns the house is a delight to interact with and our overall experience allowed us to get a glimpse into English life while exploring nearby countryside and towns. We had originally booked for 1 night but ended up staying 2 (would have stayed longer if there was availability). The house is also in a great location for both city exploration and nearby towns, castles and gardens.
Disliked: Absolutely nothing.
