Located on the outskirts of Thurles town Anner Hotel and its leisure center is a pleasant base with friendly staff fine food and plenty of comforts. Originally a country house the hotel has expanded to include modern amenities while still holding on to its old world charm and character. Anner Hotel is set in a landscape garden and has bedrooms fitted with modern conveniences and soft colors. The hotel is equipped with conference facilities for up to 350 people and a car park. A short but very comfortable...

Liked: A lovely hotel. Enjoyed a delicious carvery lunch on arrival, well priced and a friendly welcoming service.Enjoyed a few beers that night in the bar. Comfortable and easy atmosphere in the small room just off the bar area.Breakfast was good, a nice selection of cold foods and juices. The hot food was very slow to arrive though.
Disliked: The bedroom was far too hot. The thermostat controller on the radiator was broken off so we couldn't adjust the temperature in the room. Otherwise the room was great. Beds comfortable with nice bed linen.
