Very good hotel - but...

Liked: Bed was very comfortable Bedroom and bathroom both very clean, as was the hotel generallyVery nice breakfastFriendly, helpful staff
Disliked: Couldn't find room 206...it's hidden!!

We were made very welcome...

Liked: The staff were great and the owner changed our room without asking when he realised my husband had mobility issues. The new decor was very smart.
Disliked: I appreciate the hotel has had a major renovation and the bedroom itself was very nice but the bathroom needs an update.

Liked: excellent location !! staff couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful!! food was excellent.
Disliked: i believe it’s a work in progress but bathrooms could be doing with updating - still very clean and functional which is the main thing .

Hospitable and comforting

Liked: The staff went out of their way to accommodate us with an early check in .we had traveled up that morning to attend a family funeral and they made sure we had a room to change in and freshen up before arriving at the funeral, I can’t praise them enough thank you all
