In the pretty village of Menai Bridge the 200 year-old Anglesey Arms is rich in original charm and traditional character with tasty home-cooked food and real ales. The Anglesey Arms is the first building you see as you enter the island of Anglesey over Thomas Telford's famous Menai Suspension Bridge over the Menai Strait. The friendly pub serves traditional real ales and good honest pub food in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. The building is steeped in history and the bell once used to call last orders was the original ship's bell rescued from the HMS Conwy which ran aground in the Menai Straits in April 1953. The rooms feature modern comforts and facilities including private bathrooms flat-screen TVs and tea/coffee. Free Wi-Fi is available in the bar. Liked: Location excellent, service and staff superb
Disliked: Room although a double was small and extremely cramped, no space for storage, it appears if you book through booking.com your given the smallest room

Good location but don’t eat...

Liked: Good size room, clean and well stocked with tea coffee and bath things. Staff very friendly.
Disliked: Ran out of Sunday roasts and dinner was Luke warm and not cooked properly.

Disappointed, as I travelled for...

Liked: Room was clean and tidy
Disliked: Run out of some main menu choices although it was Monday, the noise coming from below my bedroom was ridiculous it was like I was sat with them, at breakfast was left sat there while 2 couples came in and was served before me although there was only me and another person sat there,
