Boutique rooms and first class...

Liked: fabtatic quality breakfast, exceptional coffee in room, probably best bed I’ve ever spelt in, trendy vibe and good location. It’s not a hotel but if what you want is a place to stay with loads of character and outstanding food it’s perfect.

Very nice hotel, the bar...

Liked: The rooms were cool, love that they were named after famous Scottish actors and musicians! Very central to everything we wanted to see and the staff gave me a little birthday surprise in my room and upgraded us, very kind!
Disliked: Was a bit noisy in the morning but that cant be helped

Excellent location, middle of the...

Liked: The location is really great and the staff were kind and helpful.
Disliked: The beds are very uncomfortable with scratchy linens and an extremely firm mattress (to the point where my bones hurt). The bathrooms were a bit smaller and dingy. Overall I found several small hairs across the room and the bed which was concerning regarding cleanliness. Additionally, my room was quite loud with noise from the neighbors and outside (near the bar where there was loud music).

West End's Hidden Gem

Liked: Beautiful property maintained to high standards in prime location. Easy walking distance to Princes Gardens, the Castle and the Royal Mile.Bar/restaurant area is very classy, food was excellent and service was good throughout.

Nice little haven in the...

Liked: Perfect location for getting to/from the airport or train stations (Waverly or Haymarket) and exploring both Old and New Town.Clean little room with tea and coffee making facility, iron and ironing board.All rooms sre named after Scottish celebrities...from footballers to actors..which gives it a fun touch.
Disliked: Check in time 3pm...and not one minute earlier. I've had better experiences all over Edinburgh. Lift out of order when room is on the top floor is not ideal
