Disliked: The bathroom was a disgrace. Old, dirty and crammed. Not meant for anyone over the age of 50. An old ball and claw tub that you had to climb in and out of. Was dangerous. The room was tiny. I love staying in old Victorian B&Bs. This was in critical and poor condition. Never again

Stay was pleasant, but would...

Liked: Breakfasts were acceptable and the 8-10 time frame is perfect. Staff was accommodating and friendly. Location was great and within walking distance of market and beach. Wonderful selection of teas for afternoon tea.
Disliked: We have stayed at many B & Bs. This is not on our list of favorites and definitely not worth what we paid nightly. I don’t care that it’s by the beach. Room was on the third floor, which was tiring every time you had to climb the stairs, especially with luggage and after a busy day. But we managed. Thank God, we weren't disabled or had difficulty walking. We are seniors and thankfully we stay fit. It wouldn’t have been so bad, if when you got to the top floor, it was a great bed. But, the bed was horrible. It was a King and the mattress hadn’t been changed in quite a while. Please put a new mattress on that bed! The middle was humpbacked and my husband and I rolled to the sides and were sleeping in depressed areas made by one too many visitors. The room service was sub par and staff couldn’t even take the time to smooth over the bedspread. It was just hastily thrown on the bed, wrinkles and all. Shower was excellent,but enclosed clawfoot tub horrible to move around in and no place to put soap, shampoo, etc. Wine and cheese in the afternoon was a nice touch, but for the price we paid,I would think they could have done better than Barefoot wine, one of the cheapest you can get. Additionally please wash your tablecloths more frequently and check your dishware before placing on table. Dried on stains from the previous meal and sticky cup handles are not acceptable. Also, I would suggest carrying on hiring interviews out of earshot of the dining room. We don’t need to hear you interviewing for staff over the phone while we are trying to enjoy our time together. I realize help is difficult to come by, but please conduct your business like that elsewhere.

Liked: The location was lovely but too far to walk to the main business area. It wasn't exactly where I thought it would be.
Disliked: Breakfast was provided but we like to relax at breakfast and the staff rushed us through the meal.
