Convenient but needs an update.
Liked: The breakfast across the road at the sister B&B was excellent.
Disliked: It was a small room, however, the bathroom was even smaller and needed a complete update. Cracked tiles and mould. Sliding door was coming off its track. Be aware there are stairs from the road to the building and then steep stairs up to the room.

Clean but a little rough...
Liked: The room was clean, warm and the towels plentiful. The water in the room was nice
Disliked: Ok, the price difference between here and the malfron hotel was less than £10 pn .we thought we were getting a small boutique hotel. But no It was a self service set up and we weren't sure where to ask for help if we needed it. There was no receptionist or bean an ti. The breakfast was in a separate sister bnb down the road. The breakfast was plentiful but a menu would be helpful as some of the staff had very strong accents. The bed was lumpy and I did not sleep well. The TV didn't work we reported it at breakfast but no change. The garden was unkempt with some kind of dilapidated pond and unsafe decking. Inside the building I felt it was weird to have personal family snaps on the stairwell in a self service....I wondered if they were still in the area while we stayed in their house. Derry is a very interesting city and we enjoyed our time there. This review is intended to be constructive to improve the experience for future visitors.
