Wonderful hotel in a great...

Liked: The porter and reception team were incredibly helpful, room was a good size and v clean. A little less up to date than the public areas of the hotel but still nice. Location was perfect. Breakfast was ok, didn't love the avocado toast as was a little tasteless but the coffee and the service was wonderful. Products in room were good!!
Disliked: My breakfast choice was a little bland but cooked well. The rooms are a little dated.

Bloody Marvellous

Liked: We love the Angel and have stayed before.Eaten there a few times, always excellent and also been to Wedding Reception there which was excellent as well.
Disliked: Nothing!

Perfect stay at the Angel.

Liked: I just had a fantastic stay at the Angel, large plush room and a great location in the centre of town.All the staff are so friendly and helpful, I will definitely be going back.

Liked: Lovely environment with lots of different spaces to meet with family and friends.Extremely helpful staff. I especially mention the Concierge for their assistance throughout the stay.Restaurant food was excellent.
Disliked: The bathroom could have done with better extraction of the moist air from the shower.

Liked: Location is great, the restaurant and bar lobby area is lovely
Disliked: The rooms that various members of my party got stuck in. Maybe it was because there was a wedding on that day and they gave all the “good” rooms away. Our room was barely a 3 star. Very old decor with a shower curtain from B&M and a really uncomfortable bed. We got moved rooms by the manager at midnight because the bed was too uncomfortable to sleep in. They gave one member of our party a full refund room was that bad as their air con didn’t work, shower wouldn’t drain and Tv didn’t work.

Disliked: Bedroom very tired and dated.Main light was flashing on and off.Didn’t like liquid hand wash and bath toiletries - prefer bars of soap.No sockets near bed for charging.No socket for kettle.Only one sachet of hot chocolate in a double room.
