Expensive for what you get....

Liked: The staff, the location and the bed linens
Disliked: Things are a but run down and the materials used in the rooms are lower quality … for example the hinge to the door to the minibar cover busted and blocked the dresser drawers (was repaired when reported). The breakfast buffet has lots of options but few done well. Needs an overhaul and simplification focusing on quality and freshness

OK, but pricey.

Liked: Nicely decorated, friendly, attentive staff.
Disliked: Rooms are small, no room for a table or a comfortable chair. Breakfast is overpriced at $30 USD. There are better values for the money. There are nice views, we did not get one in our room.

Disliked: I think it depends on what you like. we booked this as a treat for the last 2 nights of a month holiday. I actually found after a month of practicing my Spanish and really feeling like I was in Mexico that the fact everyone spoke to me in English a little bit sad. it was a great hotel, but you could easily forget you were in Mexico

Good for its purpose, with...

Liked: Breakfast was very good, lots of options, including hot and cold, and a great omelette station (located on the ground floor with both indoor and outdoor seating options). The room was comfortable, but had an amenity for someone else when we checked in. Mini bar was free and included water and soft drinks. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Great rooftop restaurant and bar, excellent cocktails. Conveniently located, friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic dog-friendly property and areas, with special events for fur-friends.
Disliked: The shower in the bathroom did not drain properly. The rooftop pool was very small and crowded with children. Smoking of cigarettes was permitted in the rooftop restaurant. Unnecessarily confusing paperwork (e.g. receipts with amounts that appear payable when breakfast is included).

It’s definitely instagramable!

Liked: The staff has superior customer service skills. The rooftop pool & lounge are fabulous. It’s such a beautifully, well designed building. The interiors common areas aesthetics and amenities are all Instagram worthy!
