Set in Amsterdam's former public library in the heart the canal belt lifestyle hotel Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht - a concept by Hyatt offers elegant design rooms with free WiFi. The Jordaan area and Museumplein are within a 15-minute walk and Negen Straatjes is just 394 feet away. The hotel's interior is designed by famous Dutch designer Marcel Wanders and the rooms and suites feature views over Amsterdam's canals the hotel's landscape garden or the interior lobby. All rooms feature a seating area with flat-screen TV a mini-bar with complimentary drinks and snacks and coffee/tea making facilities. The rooms feature an open bathroom concept with closed shower and toilet but an open vanity table. Bathrobes and free toiletries are provided. The on-site restaurant Bluespoon serves breakfast lunch dinner as well as a Sunday brunch. Dishes are European with a creative twist and all ingredients are local and seasonal often picked from the hotel's herb and vegetable garden during the summer. There is also a bar with open bar counter where guests can lounge with a craft cocktail and overlook the famous Prinsengracht canal. Andaz Amsterdam Prinsengracht has a Spa & Fitness center where guests can enjoy a massage and make use of the 24-hour gym. Other facilities of the hotel include bike rental boat tours valet parking and a babysitting service and event spaces. The Rijksmuseum Moco Museum and the Anne Frank House are all within 15-minute walk from the hotel. The Vondelpark is a 10-minute walk away. The Leidseplein known for its many bars and clubs is 1312 feet from the hotel.

Great place to stay and...

Liked: Great location for both sightseeing and more intimate city walking: no crowds, channel-located, lots of shops and food nearby. Amazing design and comfy beds.
Disliked: The day we were supposed to leave the maid woke us up at 7-30 in the morning knocking the door, ringing the bell and then just walked into the room saying: "You leaving today?"I was shocked since we were sleeping and there were no reasons for stuff to wake us up :-(

Liked: Good hotel in a good location
Disliked: Room service is very poor, if something is missing in the room they don't bring it. I ordered a taxi to the airport for 6 pm through the hotel. At 6:10 when I came to ask what was going on, they remembered that the drivers hadn't answered them and ordered again.

Very good

Liked: Quiet, clean, spacious room.
Disliked: Staff was a little stand offish when helping. They were not rude but it made us want to avoid asking for any guidance during our stay.

Not 5 stars service.

Liked: Location was good and the service was nice.
Disliked: We didn’t get a rack for the suitcase unless asked for.

Liked: Great breakfast buffet, tables were a bit tight, so sometimes it’s hard to move to and from buffet
