Liked: The location is spectacular with a view of Penn Cove from the DISCOVERY room and adjacent deck.The jetted tub brought relaxation to a whole new level. Exceptionally clean facility with top notch hospitality. Close proximity to town and restaurants where the Historic Wharf gives you a view of sunrises and sunsets.

Liked: It's a business ran with so much passion and a thought about the clients. Great care taken of everything: starting with the access to the little things that travelers very often forget in hurry, leaving their homes (like toothpaste, tooth brushes etc.), continuing with the readiness of the owners to help you with your requests, and finishing with am option to choose your time for breakfast, which is not only delicious but so finely served. Very much impressed!We were together with my partner who used to travel for business a lot and stayed in all type of accommodations. I booked this place as a surprise. He said it felt like home staying there.

Liked: Ideal location; walking distance to restaurants; semi-private deck; water view. Very gracious hosts - be prepared for an instant friend as Dave loves to chat! Wonderful breakfast - Maggie is a talent in the kitchen. We especially liked all of the thoughtful extras - water, coffee and tea selection, snack bars available, extra blankets to use on the deck, wine bottle opener in the room, and an assortment of "necessities" in case you forgot something. The Inn itself is just lovely. And a short, straight drive from the ferry. It's a great place to stay on the island.
Disliked: After I took a bath, there was no hot water when my husband went to take a shower. We could have used written directions for the electric fireplace, as the buttons were positioned where you couldn't see what each one controlled. It would have been a little nicer if the microwave and coffee set-up were sitting on top of an elevated stand as opposed to on top of the mini-fridge. All minor issues though! Would absolutely stay here again.
