Liked: It's a very unique place that once you understand how it is set-up, you can really enjoy it to its fullest. We weren't as prepared first time, but will definitely look to stay again! Help yourself amenities fully stocked and free wash and dryer to boot. Excellent! Games room fun. Outdoor area fun with gas or wood pits. And the smores were an excellent gift!
Disliked: We didn't know about the interesting arrangements until I got a text while driving saying we had already been checked in. The first 30 minutes of our arrival was confusing, but soon got it sorted. Since it's a "do it yourself" kind of place, it makes sense now. TV's didn't work well with sound or watching DVDS that were available - could barely hear and could not turn up more. One of the beds in the one room smelled like dog. Other two beds were great.

Terrific Little Find

Liked: Really cute place, with a very kid friendly setup. Liked the theme of the room. The layout of the room was ideal for our kiddo. We should habe requested an upper floor room.
Disliked: The room itself needed a little tlc, the bathroom needed some recaulking in the tub, and around the floor. The tub stopper had a slow drain, and the water pressure was low when on hot.

Liked: We stayed in Cabin 1. We liked the extra bedroom and the space. The staff was very helpful with getting us set up with open key to access the cabin.
Disliked: We didn't know until we got there that there isn't a front desk. Luckily, there was an employee in an office. We had not received a link for open key. When she looked us up, she found the phone number had an extra digit. She was able to help us get set up. The cabins are very close to the freeway. If you are a light sleeper, you might want to stay in one of the other rooms that is farther from the road.

We loved our stay and...

Liked: We loved being able to be outside around the firepit. The croquet was a great challenge. It was nice to have things to do rather than sit in a hotel room.
Disliked: The walk to the beach was long and the stairs were real steep.

Liked: I spent a night on my way to a conference along with my research partner We l-o-v-e-d our stay The room was great, spacious with comfortable beds. It was definitely noted that they thought of everything from cup to extra blankets The s'more kit was great we enjoyed making them The sit facilities were great from laundry, to fire pits, a sandbox for kids to a play room I highly recommend it to solo travelers as well as families!!!
